H2H 9 Challenge entry - Father's Day Cards

Here are my H2H 9 Challenge Entries.  If I had to choose one I would pick the one with the words around the circle as my favorite.  Instead of doing a rectangle card like the sketch suggested, I chose to do a circle card since I had some in my stash ready made that I needed to use up.  I used my Cricut Expression machine to make the circle cards using Sure Cuts Alot.  The paper is not CTMH, not sure what brand it is sorry. The paper for the DAD label is CTMH White Daisy Cardstock.  I also used CTMH White Daisy Cardstock for the base of the cards.  I sponged the cards edges in Chocolate Ink and I also used chocolate ink for the other brown stamping you see and Buttercup ink for the Argyle Stamp.  I used the following CTMH Stamps: Connections and the set that came with Felicity CC.  I also used the tiny words from a non CTMH stamp set...not sure which brand it was.

Close up of Father's Day Card that tried to follow sketch more with a stripe element.

Close up of Father's Day Card that is my favorite.  I love how the word border turned out.  I feel like they represent characteristics that makes a great Daddy.

The inside of both cards are the same. I left room to write a personal message to the Dad's in my life.

  1. These are great cards Courtney. I haven't done many circle cards, but I like them when I see them. I also have a harder time doing masculine cards, so thank you for the inspiration.

On another note, I saw on your post on the bulletin boards that you said you figured out how to post photos directly from your blog. Do you have directions you might be able to send me? If so, my email is kandig@comcast.net. Thanks!
