New artwork - getting my mojo back
For this layout I used mostly CTMH products unless noted:
To make this layout you will need:
1- 12x12 textured cardstock from Bazzil Basics in pink.
1 - 12x12 CTMH cardstock in Petal
Blush Ink CTMH
Petal Ink CTMH
A paper trimmer and either a score function or bone folder.
CTMH Sanding Block
CTMH Blush Arrows with brads
1- Ric Rac Ribbon
2 - Just blooms white daisy variety pack
1 - Floral designer brad in yellow
Yellow brads - Making memories
Pink Flower brads - Making Memories
CTMH Amour Alphabet lowercase
CTMH Posterboard Alphabet
For this layout I used several new techniques for myself. I tried scoring my paper at an angle every inch and then turning and repeating for a lattice look. Once raised I turned to the raised side and sanded the raised lattice, exposing the white core cardstock. Love how it turned out for my first try. I challenge you to try this technique today! I was very easy. I also sanded the edges of my photo mat and I love how that turned out as well. I wanted to capture these first moments and expressions of my daughter trying her first foods at 4 months old.

1st Ponytail 12x12 layout
This was my baby girl's 1st ponytail!
For this layout I used:
CTMH White Daisy Cardstock and Random Stamped it using the Connections Stamp set from CTMH and another stamp from a different brand (the light brown cluster of circles). I hand cut around the circles which was my husband's idea...I think it made the page.
I used pink paper and white paper from Bazzill Basics Textured Cardstock
the paisley strip cut from patterned paper.
Home-made shimmer mist using Perfect Pearls, water, and Petal re-inker from CTMH. (For the title)
CTMH Chocolate Ink and a sponge for distressing
CTMH Petal, Blush, Buttercup Ink as well
1 embossed piece of designer paper
1 button
CTMH Chocolate Ribbon Rounds and Natural Hemp
A few stickers
A Day at work with Grams 12x12 layout
Mommy and Daddy went on a 4 day weekend to Colorado and our baby girl stayed with Grams. Since Grams has to work too, she got to spend a day at the office.
I created this layout using:
CTMH Jingle Level 2 papers
CTMH White Daisy Cardstock
1 orage Bazzil Basics Textured Cardstock for Giraffe spots
CTMH Jingle Borders Stamp set
Cricut Zoobaloo Cartridge
CTMH Stamp that came with Felicity Set
CTMH Reflections Book for Layout
4th of July 2-page 12x12 layout
For this layout I used the following supplies:
2 12x12 pieces of White Daisy Cardstock from CTMH
1 piece of old star patterned paper from CM years ago.
1 Firecracker die cut from CM years ago.
1 Bazzill Basics Textured Cardstock in some shade of red.
Tulip CTMH ink
Tiny Tales 4th of July saying that I cut into strips and inked every other one.
Playful Numbers CTMH Stamp for the 2009
CTMH Reflections Book for the layouts.
Here are more pictures.
Grams LOVES to dress my daughter up and have a photo shoot. What I think is funny is this particular day she was not happy about it at all! :)
I love how this page turned out. I feel the first of the two pages is still missing something and I may have to work on that. In the bottom pic she is sticking out her tongue..apparently not a fan of July 4th yet. :)
Close up of the journaling.
Father's Day Layout
Here is a 12x12 layout I created of my husband's first Father's Day. I used paper from the Grace Paper Pack and a layout from the Reflections How-to book from CTMH.
Purse card holder or gift bag using the Cricut
This is a purse/greeting card holder/gift bag that I created on my cricut expression. I followed the tutorial found here. I used the Accent Essentials cartridge and the following supplies:
- 14" of ribbon...not sure what brand mine is as I store them all together
- 2 eyelets, mine are making memories
- CTMH Colonial White Cardstock
- CTMH Twilight Cardstock
- CTMH Cocoa Cardstock
- 6 CTMH Colonial White Brads
- Embossing Plate (I believe it is Fiskars Brand..but I am not in front of it right now)
- Tacky Tape strips
- Velcro adhesive dot
- CTMH Bonding Memories Glue
- Diamond Stickles
- CTMH Annotations Stamp Set
- CTMH Twilight and Cocoa inks
Here is a closer view of the front details. Don't peek too close as I have some mistakes on this first try.
Here is a close up of the back of the purse. Do you think this should be a card holder or a gift bag. How would you use it? I would LOVE your ideas.

H2H 9 Challenge entry - Father's Day Cards
Here are my H2H 9 Challenge Entries. If I had to choose one I would pick the one with the words around the circle as my favorite. Instead of doing a rectangle card like the sketch suggested, I chose to do a circle card since I had some in my stash ready made that I needed to use up. I used my Cricut Expression machine to make the circle cards using Sure Cuts Alot. The paper is not CTMH, not sure what brand it is sorry. The paper for the DAD label is CTMH White Daisy Cardstock. I also used CTMH White Daisy Cardstock for the base of the cards. I sponged the cards edges in Chocolate Ink and I also used chocolate ink for the other brown stamping you see and Buttercup ink for the Argyle Stamp. I used the following CTMH Stamps: Connections and the set that came with Felicity CC. I also used the tiny words from a non CTMH stamp set...not sure which brand it was.
Close up of Father's Day Card that tried to follow sketch more with a stripe element.
Close up of Father's Day Card that is my favorite. I love how the word border turned out. I feel like they represent characteristics that makes a great Daddy.
The inside of both cards are the same. I left room to write a personal message to the Dad's in my life.
